Every spring here in Jackson Hole, we have a little event called Elk Fest. Traders and antler hunters descend on our town square, right outside our door, hoping to sell to tourist , locals, and designers.
It's one of our favorite events. The sheer numbers of antlers, moose paddles, and characters we encounter is worth the morning trip, rain or shine. This weekend it was rain and lots of it. The Habits crew set out to capture this crazy scene dressed in Place National Lace dresses, Visvim, and Chimala. They created quite the contradiction as well a plenty of attention.
I think this is why I love this wild place. The contrast of beauty and beast.
