After 100 weeks of bringing you the Sunday Edit, we are looking back at some of our favorites.

Wow. Sunday Edits have been a guilty pleasure for the staff at Habits. They take time, thought, and introspection. These are things we are not always up for. But we get it done, and it’s always such fun. What started as a desire to write a weekly blog consistently, we quickly realized that one person’s perspective or idea wouldn’t cut it. In all honesty, I was not up for the task of writing a blog post every week. I wanted help and collaboration. I work best that way. If I were mandated by a weekly meeting to find a topic, it would get done.

We also thought doing a Sunday series in your inbox on a lazy Sunday would be great.

We hoped to discuss a multitude of topics, some serious and some silly. We love sharing our style and adventures, as well as our love of culture. This is a peek into the minds of our staff, our passions, and our genuine love of fashion and how it touches all aspects of life.

I hope you have enjoyed reading them as much as we have enjoyed writing them. Here’s to another 100!

A HABITS' HABIT

There are not many things in my weekly life that I would count as routine. However, I count on two things weekly, my daily coffee and Habits’ Sunday Edit. It has become a “habit” if you will.

Brainstorming, writing, and discussing the edit isn’t always an easy task but, it is a rewarding one. Some weeks fresh ideas flow to us and other weeks we struggle to come up with what feels like the simplest idea. Our Edit is a collection of storytelling and personal thoughts, a peak into our lives and minds. This is so special.

Fashion is storytelling as well. Art, music, clothes, blogs, cuisine, and many other creative endeavors are how we share our stories with others. What makes our Edit feel so special is extending the story of Habits and what is behind it.

On paper, Habits is a woman with a passion for fashion and the desire to share that in a small town. As you know, Habits is so much more. It is a collection of thoughts, a curated space. Each piece of clothing is hand-selected and brought from all around the world to come back to Jackson. Every brand has a story, and every article of clothing was thoughtfully designed. Clients who shop at Habits also contribute to our story. What they select and wear shares so much about them. This is why we write because there are so many stories to tell.
